Hi, I'm Kaitlin Turk!
I’ve been styling since I was a little girl. I remember regularly brainstorming how clothing, colors, accessories, and hair styles were paired together to create a top-tier look. I used to sketch designs for fun and dreamed of having my own brand one day. I spent a lot of time in front of the camera because my Dad loves photography and as I grew older, I came to love being behind the camera too.
At my core, God created me to be a creative.
I traveled a lot with my family when I was younger and we intentionally captured all our memories in photo & video. These experiences created an adventuring, treasuring spirit within me. They inspired me to vacation-it-up in my 20s and capture it all for memory sake - including all my outfits. On all those trips, I continuously ended up experiencing the most fun, spontaneous adventures that turned into unforgettable stories for the books *specifically because of my “Kaitlin” approach to life.*
Back in my 20s, I was auditioning for a TV show and telling the casting producer all my epic vacation stories. He laughed and said, “You’re Vacation Kaitlin.” Ever since, the name stuck. What’s funny is that I had an exploring-kind-of-nickname as a kid too.
A few years of life hit when I didn’t travel as much, so I started approaching my local outings as “VACATION KAITLIN.”
Through time, this name has come to represent so much more in my life:
As my brand, VACATION KAITLIN embodies my energy of maxing out the fun in life forever, leading with a spirit that seeks adventure everywhere, and treasuring what’s right in front of me. My personal style is on par with this vibe. So through my brand, I’m serving up outfits that inspire this energy - outfits that stand out and say,
“I have arrived.”
Because you have already arrived.
